EASTER
EASTER was spent with Grandma Marlene and Grandpa Rex this year. They spent the weekend with us. Ella had just had surgery a few days before but that didn't stop her from wanting to join in the fun of dying easter eggs and enjoying the easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny found she and Ashton and left them a few toys and treats in their baskets. Both of them had fun and I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa had fun watching them enjoy the day!
Ashton was a little fussy however and we actually ended up taking him to the emergency room late that night as his breathing was very wheezy/congested and he had a temp. He endured deep suctioning, a chest x-ray, Tylenol, and a diagnosis of Bronchiolitis and an ear infection that never cleared up from the week before. What a brave and sick little guy!

MARCH 2008-
Well, most of the month was spent "sick" for our entire family. I started with a really bad sore throat on the 5th and it went downhill from that.... sinus infection, bronchitis, ear infection that led to a burst ear drum, and pink eye! I have been on 4 antibiotics, 2 steroids, an inhaler, and all kinds of drugs, and still can't hear from my left ear. Needless to say I had to stop breast feeding Ashton due to all the drugs. I guess it was a 28th birthday present or something!
Of course when mom is sick, the entire family suffers! Ashton had his own obsticles of health-- pink eye twice, 2 different ear infections, bronchiolitis (breathing problems), and starting on formula and food. Ella also decided to join in on the pink eye, possible bronchitis, influenza, and most of all had surgery on the 18th on her ureters where they connect to her bladder to fix her congenital defect. She did great through the surgery and we will find out if it was successful next month, but she is still recovering from a 3 inch incision and retraining her bladder!
Grammy and Cody have been great help and they too are now starting with the horrible head cold and sinus stuff. Hopefully they can fight it and get better quickly!
